Amanda has been an employee of Freeland Photography since 2011. She is one of our featured wedding photographer and has been with Freeland full time since 2012. Amanda has a degree from UMKC majoring in liberal arts. She apprenticed behind the camera with Mike Freeland and excels at shooting weddings, seniors and portraits. Amanda’s style of photography is photojournalistic. She loves capturing candid moments and the details of the day. Her work has been featured in Lee’s Summit Lifestyle Magazine (January 2014) with a 5 page spread of exclusively her work, EA Bride (Spring 2013) and Kansas City Jewish Chronicle (Fall 2012). She has photographed for corporate clients like Comcast, Aratana, and Remax. She photographed the first ever #EVEKC on New Year’s Even 2013 at the Kauffman Performing Arts Center. She has also photographed stylized shoots at Stoney Creek and Buffalo Lodge.
When she is not behind the camera she enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family, going to concerts and amusement parks. Her work continues to set the bar for professional photographers in Kansas City. She attended Imaging USA in Atlanta, Georgia spring 2013 and studied with some of the top photographers in the world at WPPI in March 2014 and 2016.
