Amanda has been an employee of Freeland Photography since 2011. She is one of our featured lead wedding photographers. Amanda has a degree from UMKC majoring in liberal arts. She excels at shooting weddings, seniors and portraits. Amanda’s style of photography is photojournalistic, and she loves capturing candid moments and the details of the day. Her work has been featured in Lee’s Summit Lifestyle Magazine, EA Bride, and Kansas City Jewish Chronicle. She has photographed for corporate clients like Comcast, Aratana, Cavern Technologies, and Remax. She photographed the first ever #EVEKC on New Year’s Eve at the Kauffman Performing Arts Center. She has also photographed stylized shoots at Stoney Creek, Buffalo Lodge, Draftcade, and many other businesses around the Kansas City area.
When she is not behind the camera she enjoys traveling, spending time with her cute dog, boyfriend and family, going to concerts and amusement parks. Her work continues to set the bar for professional photographers in Kansas City. She has attended Imaging USA in Atlanta, Georgia, and studied with some of the top photographers in the world at WPPI in Las Vegas multiple years.
